Kenno is a multitenant system where each user organization is not provided with a customized, hard-to-maintain version, but instead, it is ready for use with a default configuration.
A deep understanding of business and user needs, as well as current processes, has been key to finding common solutions suitable for organizations of various types and sizes.

Creative solution
Kenno was designed as a clearly 2020s system that works seamlessly on both computers and mobile devices, addressing the challenges of today's world. Habits and previous workflows were taken into account, but rather than getting stuck in them, the focus was shifted to a deeper understanding of actual needs. What kind of tool is truly required when searching for the most suitable tenant for a vacant apartment or conducting an on-site inspection? The current method is not always the best—it may simply be a practice that has evolved over time due to past limitations. When things are improved, they’re often a little different from how they were before—just like Kenno.
Kenno's user interface is clear and scannable. Essential information is always readily available, with additional details easily accessible. Users are subtly guided to take the right actions. Kenno is a tool for professionals but doesn’t take itself too seriously.
Design expertise has played a key role in the development of Kenno.

Execution
In addition to Kenno, the overall system includes multiple touchpoints, some of which are visible not only to professional users but also to apartment applicants or residents. Examples include emails sent to rental apartment applicants, a move-in inspection form automatically sent to a new resident at the appropriate time by Kenno, electronic services such as fault report or termination forms, paper invoices, and more.
All touchpoints of the service have been designed with a focus on ease of use and an approachable, pleasant appearance, which can also be partially customized to align with the company's broader brand. Mobile optimization has so far been prioritized for views that are most likely to be used on a mobile device. For example, submitting a rental application or a fault report is more likely to be done on a small screen than generating water balancing invoices for an apartment building.
In terms of technical implementation, secure and easily maintainable solutions have been favored.
